Hi guys, I just got a new colt 1911 and so far love it. While loading the magazine I managed to fit 12 rounds in it. Did I manage to get an American magazine by mistake?

The normal capacity for the Colt 1911-22 magazine is 12 rounds. Contact the retailer you bought it from, they should replace it for you with a 10 round one.
