Just caught his new vid on CMT and in the first scene he is carrying what looks to be a Marlin 336. Leather sling and all!! Tres cool. The song is good as well.
 
At least he's real and sticks to what he likes.He doesn't appear to be a "Hollywood Cowboy"Congrats on the new video
 
The Truth Comes Out is the name of the song, and it is excellent.

In fact, it has made me want to learn the guitar. Corb Lund is a true original.

Corb is also a true gentleman. I am aware of a visit to a store in which only the lady at the till new who he was and she was a big fan. She kept her cool and mentoned to Corb about her being a fan. Next time in the store he brought her his newest CD and signed it for her. No muss no fuss just a thank you mam. I've chatted with him a couple of times and he is a straight shooter. I think he likes to collect turn of the last century stuff, he was quite excited telling me about a next to new Colt 1911 he had picked up at a recent gun show.

Gotta love Corb and the boys.

As was mentioned before; he seems true to who he actually is, not just publicity and promotion. Too many people fit Brad Paisley's 'celebrity' song (another favorite of mine, I think he is a bow hunter, and he will be at Casino Rama march 21 and 22).

Back to Corb; good music, seems to be a good genuine guy, such a relief from a lot of the hollywood/nashville trash that fills radio/tv.
 
I hit an after party with him a couple of years ago when he was in Inuvik for the End of the Road Music Festival. Fun guy and seemed real down to earth.
