Just picked up this sweet little 223! Trigger is absolutely fantastic, well balanced, and accurate!
I only roughly sighted it in with some old handloads I had kicking around, 3/4'' group without bags or a leadsled. Seems to love 60gr Vmax and 69gr TMK. Took it gopher hunting today, what an awesome little rig! Splattered 60 gophers out 70 shots fired ranging from 50yds to 175yds. Can't wait to see what it's capable of with a proper tailored handload fired from an actual benchrestUGhGZFB.jpeg

The CVA single shots I've owned have all been accurate and have nice triggers. Well worth the money. The only disappointing one is my son's 350 Legend. It is difficult to remove the cartridge. But it's the only rimless one I've used. I'm assuming they're all fairly difficult.

The new furniture style and the gun oveall look great! Congrats!! If they were faster than 1 in 9 mighta bought a 223 also

No problem at all with 450 BM

Totally missed the point in my mind and I won't be making the purchase. One of the advantages of the single shot is the ability to throat long and have no COAL restraints so one could shoot long heavy pills.

When will these manufacturers realize that you can still shoot light bullets out of a fast twist .223 with fantastic results...there is literally NO downside to an 8 twist.

I had an older one... Bought it so I could use up some .223 ammo I had left over when my AR got banned.

Terrible trigger and the extractor spring was too weak to extract Lacquer coated steel cases like Tula if the cooled more than a second or two and it was poorly balanced with the crow-bar barrel. Id did not shoot well either regardless of the make of ammo.

I sent it down the road, and gave the ammo away. It was likely the last 223 I will ever shoot.
