I have a new CZ 452 varmint.
Leupold 3 x 9 rime fire scope.
I like it alot.

1st time out got good results with a mix of ammo, CCI, win, federal...

When I tried Fed champion 40 grain lead I consistently got 1 hole groups at 25 yards. I am sure some of you guys have been there.
But this is a first for me with a .22:)

Glad I sold my ruger 10/22.
And a few other dusty old safe queens.
I have 2 pieces at the smith getting improved also.
Part of a whole new plan.
Quality vs. a big collection. Like what I got. Shoot often.

Wonder what other ammo will work well with this great gun?:D

Stretch its legs out, should be getting 1 hole groups at 50 pretty easily.

Pick up some Eley and find a day without wind, it will blow you away. :)

I was shooting a variety of bullets the other day at the range with mine, using a 12 power Leopold. Shot pretty well everything under an inch at 50 metres. I free floated mine and secured the front barrel screw. It will eventually be properly bedded if I don't reduce the herd in the near future.

Yup, once you own an accurate 22LR, you wonder how you did without one all those years.... :)

Hard to say what any particular gun will like for ammo though - your best bet is to buy a box or two of anything and everything that's locally available, and go down to the range and try them out (keep detailed records so you can tell which is which later). My CZ Silhouette's favorites are Winchester PowerPoint's, Winchester DynaPoints, and Federal AutoMatch. Most of the high-dollar target ammo shoots very well too, but when DynaPoint's will get me into 1/2 inch at 50 meters territory, let's just say I don't buy a lot of expensive ammo any more. :)
