Hi All,
I bought a CZ 75B (my first handgun) last December and I've only had it out shooting twice, putting about 300 rounds through it. The first time I had it out I had what I thought were two miss -fires, but by the time I had it out twice I realized that the hammer was only falling to half - #### sometimes.
I returned it to the dealer that I picked it up from and they agreed that something wasn't working right. I was told verbally over the telephone later that day that they would give me a new gun, but that unfortunately they were currently out of stock and waiting for some more to come in. Call back in a couple of weeks if I didn't hear from them I was told.
A few weeks later I enquire about it and I'm not told that my gun has been sent away for repairs to London Arms in Ontario, apparently the CZ / Bruno distributor in Canada. The dealer never really told me what had changed since I was told that I would be getting a new gun, but at the time I didn't really care that much, as long as my pistol was repaired at no expense to me.
I first returned my CZ to the dealer on Feb. 1 and it's now March 30. Two weeks ago my dealer told me that my gun was being returned, but I still don't have it. Yesterday I again talked to my dealer, asked if he would call London Arms again, and call me back with the status. They still haven't called me back as of today. I'm not terribly impressed with this kind of service
Should a repair job take two months? I'm not sure if exchanging my original gun for a new one is reasonable since I shot a few hundred rounds through it. Anyone deal with London Arms before? Or have a contact number for them?
