New CZ75 Shadow 1for $950

Just bought one, should I have waited for the 2 to come out for possible price drop? I'm just a Plinker so I don't need the best of the best but wanted a really good platform that would be a keeper. What do you think?
 
The SP-01 shadows are a great pistol - lots of representation in IPSC and was the ticket until the Shadow 2 came out. Still the same great gun. No need to upgrade until you feel that the pistol is the only thing holding you back from beating guys at competitions. It is great pistol to shoot and learn on. Great trigger.
 
What he said :) For almost twice the price the gain in accuracy is negligible comparing to how an average shooter with spread on the target. Plus the Shadow "Classic" is time proven.

I have a Shadow . Great gun. I don't see the need to get the new Shadow 2. Of course, the 2 seems great but I feel that there is a lot of the «new model» hype going on.

Congratulations! I'm going through a similar decision process as to whether to go with a Shadow now or wait for the 2. $950 is a decent price. Do you mind saying where you found it?
