Looks pretty neat. http://cz-usa.com/product/dw-bruin/
Not cheap, but not in the stratosphere like the other custom 10mm longslides.

Never liked longslides

No eh? I always kind of liked them, particularly for 10mm, but in general for target work the extra inch does help me. Don't you have a compensated Delta? That is basically a long slide ;-)

Canadian retail will be around $3500.
Hardly a bargain...

But gun does look like a million bucks!

I hope it won't be that bad (comparing what the STI P10 goes for in the US v Canada) but you could be right particularly if the dollar continues to dive.

Yeah its is, but still not as front heavy. Also serves a bit of a function.

just something of the longslide just doesn't look right, but i would consider a full profile comp on my delta, but have the slide cut back to commander length, so OAL would be just over 5"

What's with all these long slides lately? Glock now DW and others. They're ugly IMO. I'll never buy one.

You obviously haven't shot a Long slide??
IF looks are where it stops then ... and that's in the eye of the beholder.....the longslide ain't for you.

The increased sight radius, muzzle weight/balance and increased muzzle velocity are very appealing...and make the pistol much more practically accurate as well as tame muzzle flip/blast/recoil.
The longer Glocks make far better gaming guns.
The muzzle velocity boost and recoil/blast taming are big pluses when you can hunt/shoot with a pistol.
And they are plain FUN to shoot. Especially in the hotrod calibers where the longslide shines...10mm and more exotic cartridges.

10mm 1911 longslide's make me horny!!!
