Hey, CGN,
in May I'll be adding Dueling Trees to RangeRabbit.com. I'm testing three versions and need your opinions about pricing and competing products in the Canadian market. Don't be shy!

- a rimfire version with six four-inch paddles, selling for about $350. 1/4" AR500 steel paddles, mild steel for upright and feet, etc...
- a pistol-caliber version. Six six-inch paddles made of 3/8" thick AR500, with mild steel upright and feet. Selling for about $450.
- Another version with six-inch paddles, but with an armored upright so you can hunt it with your carbines without tearing the stand to shreds. Selling for $650 ish.

Prices are painted and shipped anywhere in Canada. Easy to assemble, no welding required. Photos and maybe some video on the website next week!

Well, what do you think?
Glenn

Very interested.

I believe you could us 1/4 inch for the pistol calibers as well. I'll be goin through Calgary this weekend is it possible to pick up??

Price seems a little steep, I had a target manufacturer local to me do a 1 off dueling tree 3 years ago, its built out of AR500, has 6 AR500 plates and 6 lighter plates for .22LR. This has made it capable of working with all calibers from .22LR up to .308 that I have tested so far. Folds up and also has adjustable angle using one wrench. Price was $550 if I am not mistaken.

I would be more interested in buying the dueling tree plates and just making a stand myself to save on costs

Surplusshooter, I've seen such kits for sale in Canada; frankly, making the right stand is the hard part. Ours is rigid, easy to transport and assemble, and is 'competition-ready', meaning that it will work reliably on match day. You're right, though, such things cost.

Thanks for the feedback, everybody!
Glenn.
