This zombie stuff is getting a little ridiculous

I see it like this: an industry that can have fun and not take itself too seriously is a GOOD thing. The fact that companies like Hornady and EOtech are willing to develop, manufacture, and sell "fun", pop-culture-inspired products means that the industry is healthy both socially and financially.

Yes, it's mostly marketing hype, but I'd rather have that than an industry that has a stick up its rectum all the time.
 
I'm a huge zombie film fan, but these marketing gimmicks are getting out of hand. I wouldn't be caught dead with anything that said "zombie" on my rifle anymore. Too mainstream to be cool now... I'll take mine with "giant mantis killer"

WOW....you think they're doing this to have fun?

They're doing it for the $$$, cause they know people eat this s**t up for no reason.

The fact that their ads recognize that the biohazard signs make no difference, yet they still charge a premium is why I think they are laughing at you.



Me, I prefer to spend my money on shooting, instead of looks. Personal preference I guess

If this is true, sorry - I think it's lame-oh. Most guys can't see the current reticle well enough (claim it's 'blurry'), so this would be retarded. Pretty dumb, in my opinion, but to each his own!
 
Your EoTechs are over $100 more than 'other' retailers (even CRAFM is cheaper!) . Can you do $499 for this model? Or a 'Shot Show' Special of $449??

As already posted these sights aren't even shipping from EOTech yet and until they finalize pricing we don't even know our final cost... We also have no way to know what currency exchange rates will be 4 or 5 months from now... So all we can say right now is they'll be under $600 but whether that ends up at $599 or $499 or $399 or $299 or $199 is just speculation or someone screwing with you.

When we have firm delivery dates and costs we will finalize pricing... Until then I don't worry about what others say or sell for ;)
 
I am actually surprised they can make such a reticle from a technological standpoint.

It will be much more in line with the zombie theme if they can do a lime green anodization.
