Just picked up my first shotgun from the shooting edge. Here are some pics.

nice guns, I liked mine but I thought it was too nice, I didn't want to get it dirty:D . Plus I found it kicked like a mule, so I sold it and used the funds to buy a Mossberg 590A1 9 shot, my first quality fixed blade knife and sharpening system and a 4Sevens Quark 123-2 flashlight and I still had a little coin left over.

I sometimes miss it, then I remember the way my bad shoulder(separated in high school football) felt after 10-15 slugs. The empty feeling then goes away. :)

It is a real pain in the ass to try and load a round into the chamber through the ejection port while trying to hold the fore end back.

I also found I had the tendency to short stroke the gun when the spring was installed.

There are a number of situations when you would want the bolt/fore end to stay in the rearward position, when the spring is installed you have to hold it to the rear, it gets annoying.

Hi

I have a Martial, wondering how do you remove the spring?

It's pretty easy actually. Just unscrew the mag cap, remove the barrel, then the forend and you will see the spring on the mag tube (normally in the space between the forend and the mag tube). Just pull it off and reassemble the gun. Easy as pie.
