thanks for all the love guys. Im in the process of getting my b.sc. I have not met alot of gun owners yet, but the one i have been introduced to are very educated and in high standing in society at the very least they have a job, very polite, very responsible etc. Not the low life scum, the media portrays us as. In my own opinion target shooting, hunting etc is just as normal and safe as a hobby like golf etc.
I'm pretty sure there are more people struck down from lighting while playing golf in a storm than there are accidents with firearms when the handlers are educated and safe about the subject.
Just like any hobby, firearms does have a risk to it, but if you be careful and don't act like a moron you will be just fine.
This is my opinion, your might vary and that is ok. Everyone is entitled to the own opinion on life.
