Replacing the AT and AX (short action). Still an AT action but with a new chassis (not bonded), weight system, and no cant to the AR grip interface (the way it should be) vs what they did with the AXSR and AX Mk3. The chassis will be available on its own too. They also said they’re now working on a .223 bolt. Finally!

This is not replacing the AT or AX. AI'S primary sales are still Military and LE. The AT X is a rifle geared towards civilian competition. This is a quote from Tom Irwin over on Sniper's Hide ...
"The AT and AX are not discontinued. We still make them in the UK and will continue to do so as long as the market continues to demand them.
The AT-X is a civilian competition rifle and products we supply for other markets are still available."

Also there is no such beast as a AX Mk3.

I stand corrected on the Mk 3 comment. The video is deceiving and Tom Irwin corrected it. This is a competition rifle for civilian matches and in no way replaces AI's primary customer base.
 
That AT-X looks really nice, but the MKIII is what I'd go for, if MSRP isn't too far apart I'd do that MKIII on looks alone (we already know they both are shooters)
