Mossberg continues to refine and enhance the optic-ready 940 Pro Tactical platform. And the 940 Pro Tactical SPX autoloader lives up to the title of a true fighting tactical shotgun, designed for functionality, reliability, and longevity.

Mossberg has refined its widely-popular 940 Pro Tactical 12-gauge semi-auto shotgun with new and highly-desired tactical features: introducing the 940 Pro Tactical SPX shotgun.

The 940 Pro Tactical SPX has corrosion-resistant internal parts and finishes, and a cleaner-running gas vent system allows for longer cleaning intervals and smooth, reliable operation. Other standard features include an optic-ready receiver with ghost ring sights, oversized ergonomic bolt and bolt release, enlarged and beveled loading port, pinch-free elevator, bright orange anodized follower, 18.5-inch AccuChoke barrel, extended single-piece magazine tube (7+1 round capacity), new tactical forend, and fully adjustable stock.

Initially, five models are available including a Holosun Micro Dot Combo and optional Cerakote finishes.

And wouldn't a shorter mag tube interfere with the forward barrel clamp/rail piece?

If you buy the 940 that,s coming to canada you work get the clamp or the mag tube.
we do make a +2 mag tube and clamp and it will be limited to 5.9rds of 3 inch "canadian legal"

This x 1000 ^^^^, particularly in shotguns (but all firearms IMO as it is yet another useless feel good measure that does nothing except appease rabid anti gun people who have zero clue and are happy that "something" has been done, meanwhile Johnny Criminal will simply use a full capacity magazine and break 10 laws when going about his dodgy business instead of 9)

I am 99% sure that even in the highly regulated UK shotguns do not have max capacities.

I would say IRUNGUNS could get first grab at these over Canadian distributor considering they are based in the USA.

Most retailers/distributors do their ordering at Shot Show where they van get hands on 2025 product.
