Hi,i'm a new user to this forum. Just getting back into target shooting after a 30 + year hiatus. I used to teach fire arm safety back in my army cadet days. Was a terrible shot back then LOL! But really enjoyed teaching and was on the special cadet platoon that twirled around FNC1 rifles during parades at Val Carrier back in the 70,s.
so now I'm re-learning and really enjoying target shooting at the local gun club With a .22 and HMR17 rifles both with scopes. Used to use open sites back then, scopes make it more enjoyable with these old eyes
So Now i'm. Looking at automatic hand guns, having tried several out last year, I was surprised and impressed as to how well I could shoot! So I supposed a seed was planted.
I am now Contemplating purchasing a new Ruger SR9 or CZ 40 or 45 caliber to start with. The SR9 reviews and price are attracting me to this fire arm, but they seam to be sold out in Alberta and are on back order for 6-8 months. So maybe a CZ might be on the menu. Any thoughts or input from any of you guys. Would be appreciated.....
Cheers
