I learned about this site from a guy at work that has been a member for several years. I grew up on a cattle ranch and hunting was a way of life then, but now it has shifted to a chance to kick back and enjoy the weekend
Dad is gone now and I have a couple of the rifels that we grew up with. I joined a shooting range and sited in my 243, but iim having more fun now with my new 50 cal blackpowder rifle. I am goin to need some help learning how to navigate on this site, but im hoping to have some of wy questions answerd. I also am thinking about upgrading my pal to rpal ,looking forward to getting to know some of u fellow gunnutz..
 
Welcome Flint!! As you may have noticed, there's a blackpowder area where you can chat about your 50 cal. Use the search function as much as possible, as many subjects come up again and again and you can find answers fast that way, but don't be afraid to ask questions either.

Also if you want to see the exchange area or off topic area (lots of good goofy stuff in there) you just have to ask a moderator at some point.

Have fun and watch out, this place can get a little addicting. :p
