The picture pretty much says it all. Be watching Tactical Existence on YouTube for a video review very soon!

See it in person at the Bullpup Convention.

I have shot it and it works. there are still some details to work out of course but I am hard at it. I do not have any kind of price or date of when or IF it will be available commercially yet. As soon as I do, I'll let everyone know.

I had to design my own gas system. I won't be answering questions about it yet as I am still making changes to refine it and do not know just yet how it will end up ultimately.

I have been a fan of the 300 Whisper for years before the blackout became available. My desire for a 300blk/whisper bullpup has been great for a long time. This is the first candidate that seemed feasible as a host. This particular barrel system has had a lot of money invested into it and will end up scrap when it's done. But it is a worthy goal for me personally and hopefully for you all commercially.

about time someone got going on this. should be awesome! too bad i bet all the barrels down south will be restricted. Wonder if they would make one for us haha!

all these new products but no spare 'normal' barrels. =/

All I want is a spare 15" heavy barrel.

Why would you want a 15 inch barrel?

How hard is it to remove the barrel from the Tavor? What does the barrel extension look like?
If you can get a barrel extension then having a barrel built shouldn't be very hard. Just need a spare gas system so you have one you can shorten and it shouldn't be a very difficult project. My 300 Blackout ACR is working great with a carbine length gas system and it wasn't overly hard to build. It uses an AR barrel extension though which makes it pretty easy to source.

I think this vid of TV-PressPass' shows barrel removal.

I'd really like a 300BLK Tavor but the ammo situation puts the fear into me (I'm not a reloader). As it is I rarely shoot my 300BLK AR...as I hold onto my hoard of ammo for it. If ammo ever came around to 5.56 availability I'd move to that calibre whole heartedly. I do like it quite a bit.

Where is this lots of 300blk around?
What is this 7.5 inches barrel? this must be a sarcastic joke cause obviously that barrel cannot fit in a tavor, like really..

Tier One Armoury in Edmonton carries lots of 300BLK ammo but they only have the high end stuff so it's expensive. I've been asking them to try to source some of the Remington 115gr stuff I found at at a different retailer for $16/box but they say they can't find it and I haven't seen it since I bought 120 rounds of it from the other place.
I have been told by a couple local retailers that they are expecting to see bulk FMJ become available but I haven't seen any yet.

A 7.5 inch barrel would be nearly impossible in any piston operated rifle, the DI AR can get away with it using the pistol length gas system but I still wouldn't go shorter than 10 inch. My last build was a 300BLK and I had a 12 inch barrel custom made for it.
It's hard to shorten a piston system to work with a pistol length gas port. My ACR conversion uses a carbine length gas system and it works great but I would have needed to do some pretty serious modifications to the rifle to get a pistol length system in there.

Agree'd, it's either a sarcastic joke or he knows nothing about the rifle. Trying to put a 7.5 inch barrel into a bullpup would be stupid since the barrel would not even stick out the end of the handgaurd, the whole point of a bullpup is to have a longer barrel but retain a shorter overall length rifle. For the Tavor a 14-15 inch barrel is as short as you would need to go and it would make the rifle extremely short and maneuverable.

Superbad, the 300BLK is not optimized or designed for ultra short barrels. The cartridge simply doesn't suffer from the same rapid loss in velocity that 223/5.56 does as you shorten the barrel below 12 inches. I have 3 300BLK rifles and my 9.75 inch and 12 inch barreled AR's work just as well as my 19 inch barreled ACR, they all cycle perfectly but the ACR does get more velocity from the same ammo. The 9.75 inch is a little slower than the 12 inch but the difference is not as big as it would be between 223/5.56 AR's of the same lengths.
There are still advantages to running a longer barrel for supersonic loads if you want more velocity. All three of my rifles shoot extremely well and my ACR is capable of shooting sub moa, the 9.75 inch is very close to going 1 moa and I'm hoping to do some load development on the 12 inch (only had it to the range twice so far) to see what it's capable of.

Do you collect your brass when you do shoot your 300BLK?

Man... I want one so bad right now, I would have an excuse to start hunting if I got my hands on one of these.

I have both the Tavor and the RFB. If I was to get rid of the RFB for example and only have one gun - I could consider getting a .300 Blackout barrel for my Tavor.
I can see an appeal for people who hunt big game - however the .308 out of the RFB should have better knockdown power still on game, shouldn't it ?
I doubt I will ever see a different caliber conversion for the RFB now that they are talking about RDB...
