New glock 34 gen 4 purchase

Well I initially placed an order for a glock 17 and the dealer messed up and somehow thought I wanted a glock 34 , he transfered it to my name and his shipping dept caught the mistake before it went out....
He called today to straighten it out .
I wasnt too familiar with the model34 before but after researching and thinking about it I went with the model 34 anyhow.
I have read a few reveiws and it is supposed to shoot well , has anyone on here tried one of these gen 4 model 34 yet ?

I didn't even think they were available in Canada yet. Hope you get it soon. I have the Gen 3 G34 and it's ok.

700 rounds per week since purchase, 8000 or so total and only 1 FTFeed which was a split case I didn't catch. Very impressive record.

I was told by the dealer it was a gen 4 and he had it in stock .
I like your reveiw of it better ...sounds way better than " its ok " .. lol

It comes with the lighter trigger pull , adj sights and the new RTF .
Another snag in the deal is that the 3 mags are on backorder
I found that out for the first time during our phone conversation .
I ordered a mag and backstrap channel insert from the Glock store tonight .
Do you know who carries bladetech holsters or another good brand ?

Would like to compete but time restraints are an issue, at least for now.
Planning on it in the near future.

The barrel is a Lonewolf 4 port. The LW logo is on the bottom. I can't stand that logo.

So your not putting major loads through it?

Just curious what I really need to start shooting major?

Well my new and first Glock arrived the other day ,Glock 34 Gen 4 I am totally new to Glocks and a novice with handguns in general , I used the Browning 9mm very little in the infantry , bought a Norinco 1911 45 ACP about 10 months ago and have a 22LR/WMR revolver as well .

The pistol arrived quickly but the mags are on back order so I can only admire it for now till I find a mag .I tried the Glock store but they dont ship mags to Canada .I am impressed with the handgun so far .I love how simple it is disassembled .It has the oversized mag release that can be made left handed as well.The new RTF has a nicer design in my opinion , not as pointed.

It came with the adjustable sights

Here is a few pics for comparison in size with my 1911 .
It comes with 2 sizes of add on backstraps and I like it with the large backstrap on so far .
