As there are no CGN sponsors specializing in aftermarket grips, I thought it would be okay to post some info on a company that will ship any set in their line to us here in Canada.
I was pretty pumped when I stumbled on this site offering brand new desgins of REAL carbon fiber grips in the US. Well, you either like them or you don't of course, but I think their grips are striking, functional, and super strong.
So I contacted Ron, the owner, and explained that many US sellers don't ship here assuming there are too many regulations, etc and that are also unaware of the the max $100 rule for items such as grips. I also advised him that Canadian gun enthusiasts are very brand loyal to those companies that ship products here that we cannot currently purchase.
He said he would be thrilled to do business with Canadians, and offered up a flat rate shipping fee for Canadian orders of $10.00 per order and he uses only USPS! How sweet is that I thought?
He also advised me that based on a high demand, grips for more models are coming out all the time. It sounds like he has a winner on his hands.
Anyway, I inquired about the red carbon fiber smooth grips for my 226 and they will be released soon! However, you'll have to get in line for those as I have pre-ordered the very first pair that comes off the line and he has assured me he will hold that order...........
