Hi,

I just finished my F.A.C. course last weekend! I can't wait for my paperwork to come in so I can go to the range again.

A friend took me to the range a few monthes ago, and got me shooting. Until that day I had never ever seen a gun out of an officer's holster.
Now, I'm completely addicted and trying to find all of the information I can.

This seems like a great community, and I can't wait to be as knowledgeable and experienced as some of you on here.

CR :)

What kind of guns are you looking for? Long guns, handguns, shotguns? You should apply for the Equipment Exchange here on CGN. Many cool toys in there. But be sure to do research before buying. Good deals don't sit on the forums very long these days.

Congratulations. Which range did your friend take you to? Colby's? Galt? Waterloo? Bridgeport? etc etc???

You'll find that for every question you ask there will be 3 answers. The right ones, the wrongs ones, and the ones that have nothing to do with the question :)

You will find that most of us here are continuously learning even with months, years, decades and generations of experience here on CGN.

Thanks everyone!
This is a great site, I've been reading a lot on here, and you are right there are several answers to every question. :)
I was a little put off by the shotgun, since I was holding it wrong and hurt my shoulder pretty bad for a few days. I really like the handgun, but my experience is so little, I'd like to try them a few more times, before I decide which is my favourite.
Of Course, I was really fascinated by the Pump the instructor had. I've never imagined I'd ever in my life be able to shoot one (maybe some day).
Thank you :)

Welcome to the sport. Hope you drop by Guelph R&G sometime. Put a message up here and me or someone else can take you as a guest, if you like. Good facility.
