Well finally got my new 1911-22 to range yesterday. Stopped and bought 100 rounds of the Winchester, 100 Remington Yellow Jackets, 100 Remington Vipers, 100 of American Eagle. Filled first magazine with 10 Yellow Jackets. Worked slide, aimed down range and CLICK. nothing. OH OH Cocked manually again and click again nothing? Not a good sign on brand new gun. Slid slide back and ejected that round. It had deep dents. Wasn't a gun problem. Threw in misfire can , re-inserted mag , racked it and BLAM!!!! Went through rest of that that box and not a misfire or FTF. Tried Winchester. Worked flawlessly. Gun is great. I shot off a few mags of 9mm through my XD9 but went back to my 1911 right away. When I tried the American Eagle.......well I will just say it's junk. Jamming on eject, failing to fire. steadly? Then took some from a diff box, was better but not what I'd call good. Back to Win and REm. No issues whatsoever? Then as the real torture test I took out the box of Imperials that had sat in the gun safe for .......20 years. HAHAHAHAH Not kidding. I figured what the heck lets see what they do. Fired off everyone flawlessly? That was pretty impressive.
All in ALL . I love this gun. Now the ammo test is over I will see what the bulk stuff does. Cleaned up nicely too.
