New gun problem

food for thought, check and make sure the mag springs are not installed backward on both mags. One big company down in the US did it to some of their 2.0 pistols that came out recently.

Secondly, are these 10 rounders or pinned mags? My 2.0 were pinned horribly by the importer and the last 2 rounds will not come up the mag because the rivet was limiting the upward travel of the spring itself ( only the top half of the spring is doing work while the bottom half is compressed below the rivet ).

That really sounds like a mag problem,in specific weak magazine springs.Double feeding occurs when the inertia from recoil strips the top round out the mag and then the gun tries to feed the next round as well, and failure to lock back the slide is also very symptomatic of a weak spring as well.I would try different mags(Mec Gar are great)and in the mags you have, replace the springs with Woolff +5% springs and see if that helps. One poster mentioned bad pinning of the mag, that happened to me with a Tanfoglio mag I bought a few years ago and the rivet was compressing a good part of the spring.

Isn't that sweet the dealer said to call North Sylva. I wouldn't buy anything from them ever again . they sold it too you not the distributor . I had a problem with a gun I bought one time and I took it back to the store I bought it from and like the professionals that they are they sent it out for warranty work. and the same thing should go for who you bought it from .
