It's a savage... Got it in a .270

I'm looking to upgrade the scope that it came with. I mainly target shoot with my brother in the bush 250-500yds. And we're looking to shoot further! I don't mind spending money on good optics because when I get a nicer rifle I can just move the scope over.
I'm looking at this one:

I can have it from a local store for about 600$.
Any advice? Something in the same price range you'd suggest over it?
