I felt my Kentucky was not long enough

It's a long rifle like one from The Last of the Mohicans

However this gun is rifled not smoothbore so can be actually used for accurate target shooting.

Shoots a .490 patched round ball with 100 grains of blackpowder.

Good for around 100 yards

I recently built a 45 cal flinter with a 13/16 barrel 42" long. Got to like those longrifles. Get a synthetic ramrod for it as well, they won't break in the bush. {Although you can use a willow in a pinch.}
