New Guns

I am waiting for my 9mm hand gun and Norinco m4 to arrive, is there anything that should be done to these guns befor taking them to the range?
(cleaning, oiling, ect...) P.S my wife used cookiemonster as our log in name, please no jokes>

lol - I think a thorough cleaning is standard with a very light oiling of the slide rails ... check out youtube for some good cleaning vids and do what you see is fit and enjoy your new purchases!

Im in the same boat , i had to go back to taiwanian tire and get my m14-s . And then i get home and go , damnit , i dont know a damn thing about how to take this apart . Lol i just opened the manual now .

then i have to do it with my M&P .40 next week .
