New Guy Intro & Questions

Folks,

I'm a new guy to this and am looking to get info on what competition style or organizations would best suit me. I'll be looking for an SKS on here in the near future (soon as I have access to the exchange forums) and would be doing some minor mods for accuracy, function etc. Just wondering what sort of Comp stream would be best for that rifle?

Welcome to CGN.

It's a wealth of information and some very modest knowledgeable people.

I've never seen an SKS used for any competitive level shooting, but I'd imagine someone more well travelled than myself has.

Without adding what your interests are or where or what your planning on competing in its hard to give you directions. If your planning on armed B@EEs or Macs Milk hold ups then the SKS may work, just dont be too far away if your involved in a fire fight! Im obviously being sarChristic but SKS are not known for their accuracy. Anyways Welcome to Gunnutz from SEOntario
