Years and years ago i used to work at a place in toronto called Outdoor Stores..anybody remember it?

Nope...i worked at the store on Danforth across from shoppers world plaza

Oh... yeah... eons, Like the 70's?
I used to go to the one at the "Dixie Plaza" back when the place was just a little strip mall... I remember buying fishing gear by the mitt full at their closing sale.... Probably pre-1980.

Yep it was that long ago...in the days that John Kerr[ Ontario outof doors] and Glen Gibbs worked there...mee too

Nope...but i do remember that store and some of the people there.
The Outdoor Stores[ owned by Sam Guist] had about 14 stores but was bought out by Collegiate Sports which carried guns for a while..I worked at the one on Sheppard for a long time too.

im trying to remember the place your talking of..but its not ringing a bell ...
and i lived in the area(well down in the beaches) most of my life..can you pin point a little more were the store was..

The Outdoors store that i worked at used to be across from Shoppers World Plaza on Danforth Av
I think the stores were bought out by Colligiate Sports in 1981 or 1982

There was one in Ottawa too, at Merivale and Baseline..

It closed about 1980 or 1981.
