Hello all fellow Gun Nutz!
I am new to the website but not new to hunting, shooting, fishing and loving the outdoors. I enjoy hunting grouse, deer, moose, and elk. This is the year I think I am gonna get that big moose that has been eluding me for years. My dad and I just loaded up some 160gr partitions for my .270 and they are grouping under an inch at 100 yards.
I also like to shoot lots of paper with the .270 and my savage .22. While the 90gr sierra hollow points and the 160gr Nosler partitions group well, I am not having much luck with any other loads. I am trying 135bthp match, 140 accubonds and ballistic tips, and 150 grain interlocks.
Any suggestions for best accuracy out of a .270, let me know!
Magnus the new guy.
