This definitely happens. Some people just don't understand that their opinion is not what matters, and they think they're doing everyone a favor by giving it.

Not accusing anyone on this thread of such things but Covid really brought these types to the fore. They seemed to revel in telling others what they should and should not do (many times with their own twist on it).

I have always been a "You do you" type of person and have no time for such people.

“Transfer Notifications’ purpose is to take possession of a newly acquired firearm after the transfer is completed, and does not serve as a temporary registration certificate. Subsequent movement of the firearm can only occur after receipt of the registration certificate.”

I'd like to see that - is it possible to post a scan / picture of this section?

This was not on any of my last 4 transfer notifications. Last one was August 2nd. What province are you in, maybe each province has different text on their transfer notifications? I am in BC
