New Here! Advice?

Hey Folks,

I'm new here, but I've been reading the forum for about a year. I'm a hunter (on a budget!!) and usually buy low-end used equipment. I've been watching the "for sale" section, and I see a lot of very nice guns. However, I don't see anything low end!

I've bought all of my guns "by chance" off of guys I know. Both of my 12ga were free, my .50 muzzleloaders have all been 100-300, and I've picked up .22's for $50-$150. They all have dings but they all shoot good enough for an average hunter.

Where are these guns sold? Is there another site? I'm looking to pick up a cheap varmint gun (.222, .223 or maybe 22-250). Nobody I know hunts predators so I can't find a cheap gun via my usual routes. I'd prefer to do a face-to-face purchase, so websites geared towards Ontario would be best...

Any advice would be appreciated!

Well, they're on here, and yes they are cheap guns, they just want alot of money for them!!

I just bought a new Savage edge out the door for 315 complete with bases and taxes in. I had rings and scope at home. So far I like the 223 and I.m working up some loads to finish up sighting in. I'm sure you could find one at a compareable price in your area. Good luck.
