New Hi Cap with B&T Mount

I received my new High Cap Sporter from Czeckpoint Thursday. Fit & finish is excellent. Ordered it in Grey with muzzle brake.The B&T arrived Fri. Perfect timing, better than Christmas.About the new mount. First overall impression was Wow. Reeked quality and beautiful.Perfect workmanship. Old guards came right off.The lower mounts to the barrel using 22 saddle mounts each having 4 allen screws to snug it up.The upper was a little tricky . As I lowered it into place there was some resistence caused by the underside arc rubbing on the outside edges of the saddle. This caused it to be VERY tight after it was in place. I finally coaxed it back up , filed a little off the saddle shoulders and it's all good. Fits like a glove. Installed a folding vertical grip. Now I save for a reddot. Eotech or Micro Aimpoint. Hmmmm.

Think you have enough rails? Scope, Flashlight, Ipod, Coffee cup holder. Very nice. Once you get a scope, let us know how the whole works holds Zero, when you remove the top rail for cleaning. If it's a very tight fit, than it should be very good, you'd hope anyway.
 
I seriously considered the B&T rails. I understand they make excellent kit (however I have not seen it up close and personal)

May I ask where you got them, and What kind of $'s you spent??

Ah so your south of the 49th.

Up here, Last time I checked it was well over $500 Canadian $'s, which was more than I wanted to spend.

Nice looking rig though!!
