New HK417 Info/Pics (GOOD)

We need another theatrical armorer to bring a couple of 416 uppers up, and maybe a couple of complete semi auto 416's in 556 and 762 (any dealers listening??) ;)

FWIW, you can already get piston-driven AR15 uppers that are basically the same thing. Mate it to a carbon 15 lower and you have a fixed-stock HK clone - lol.

Questar can likely help you out with that.

I think I'll stick to my M4-gery for now.

Leo/Mil use Only.

Company policy and Canadian firearms laws are two different animals.

How do you think all of these Colt M4's with Restricted markings come up here, or the real semi auto G36's and UMP 45's that made their way over?

If theatrical armorers where that good we'd still be getting G36's en mass. You'll need to consult one on the side with fist full of money.

If it were only that easy. They don't make their own rules either.

One of the reasons we will most likely not see a 416 is .... they do not have a semi-auto only trigger group ... they are all select fire only, unlike the UMP and the G36 which have a semi-auto only trigger group made by HK as well as the select fire triggers. Vancouver PD tried out a few 416's recently. They seem promising.
