Hi All,
A new friend told me about this site and here I am. I picked a bow up this summer. Went hunting with it this fall. Had one he77 of a good time wandering around the mountains, by myself for the most part. A few minor encounters in the woods and I figured I'd get my PAL so I can carry a shotty, just in case. So now I'm figuring another 3 weeks and I'll have it.

I'm excited to get shooting, as I've made some friends on Ab Outdoorsmen who I believe are gonna help me get rolling. I plan on getting myself a good hunting rifle, a nice shotgun(mainly for protection), a decent handgun(just to have), and I've already got myself a plinker paid for. Just waiting for the PAL to pick it up, so i can get the kid started a little sooner then myself.

Hopefully I'll be ready to go for Bear season.

Thank you. Not sure yet. This Rookie has no plans. I will probably end up in 316 or , 406, 8 0r 10 as they are all pretty close to home and I am a little familiar. I have a feeling that 410 might be a little tricky though. I am very seriously considering sending Gunslinger a PM but am a little strapped for cash this year(A lotta new investments to make, that go boom, boom). My hopes are to find someone to tag along with who has some experience.
