New hunting/precision rifle!

So I found a brand new Remington 700 AAC-SD in 6.5 creedmoor. Set me back about $800 after taxes. Planning on using it for my hunting rifle this season since my Christensen Arms MPR is being modified into a new stock.

For sh*ts and giggles Im planning on putting one of those ATN Day/Night 5-15x scopes onto it.

They record pretty decent video so I figured that would be perfect for capturing some hunting videos.

Is it brand new? As in, new manufacture by RemArms? Or new, as in new, old stock? I've been hoping we get some new "RemArms" Remington rifles in Canada this year, I have one of those stumpy 700s from the past run (mine is a .223) and love it. It was going to be a project gun but it met with the first "modification" of a B&C I picked up on sale years ago from the US, after I dropped it in it shot so well I've just left it like that.
