New IGA Condor questions

I bought a nickel condor outback over under and it just got delievered. I was lookgin it over and I had some questions.
Both barrels have what looks to be a welded seem showing down the length of the barrel. I can barely touch the seam with my finger but it is rough. Is this normal?

Also being an over under, when its cocked without shells in it and I pull the trigger it fires the first pin, but the second pull of the trigger does nothing? I was told it was ok to dry fire an outback, but I was wondering if the second barrel only loads if there is shells in it or something like that.

I have never has a single trigger over under before.
 
I should mention this is a new gun, I called the store, and they said it was probably plastic from a test fire, and to go ahead and clean it out with a brush. I didn't want to start scrubbing it with a bore cleaner and solvent if I had to return it or something. Anyone know about how they load and or fire without shells in them?
 
I tried to take a picture but I couldn't get it to come out at all. Unfortunatly the only camera I have is my blackberry. It looks like almost the finish has been scrubbed off or something. Witch seems weird to be because I didn't think there was a finish on in the inside. I figured it was just pollished.
 
The gun has an inertia trigger which means the recoil from the first shot will reset the trigger to fire the second. If you hit the gun butt hard enough to replicate the recoil pulse the trigger will reset to the other barrel.
 
Thanks claybuster, I'll try and get a pic of it tonight and I'll try cleaning with a brass bristle see ifits just plastic wadding from a test fire like the gun shop said. It doesn't look like that to me but I guess I have no other way to find out but try and scrub it off.
 
Yep Claybuster was right a little bump on the stock and it activates the second firing pin. As for the mark inside, the gun shop was right it was some sort of marring from a test fire. I scrubbed it with some bore solvent and a brush and it all came off. Now I figure working the action a few thousand more times and I'll be super happy with this new member of the family. Very happy so far with the fit and finish, everything is nice and tight. Once the spring comes I'll go try and bust a few clays, and then look at picking up some more chokes.
