New in Ottawa

Hi, I'm new to the forums (and to shooting in general). I originally got my PAL because we moved to a small hobby farm, and I wanted predator protection. I've only gone to a public range once, so I'm not very experienced.

I enjoy target shooting and ended up getting my restricted as well, but as of yet haven't purchased a pistol, or fired one. Anyone have any suggestions for good ranges in the Ottawa area?

The closest range is Stittsville. You can shoot NR there as a guest on the weekends....$25 for the day. You cannot shoot R as a guest. Membership is expensive, but they are within the City limits. Another option is the Smiths Falls Fish and Game Club, but there is a waiting list. The GRENVILLE FISH & GAME CLUB may be an option too, but I do not know anything about them.

Thanks for the tips. I heard there is one in Arnprior as well, but I don't have any info on that.
