I really like this concept - micro action, retractable Buttstock, super compact backpacking/ATVing predator defence rifle. The only problem is the calibre - it needs to be done in .300 Blk, not .223/5.56 mm for maximum effect on target. .300 Blk in a supersonic 150gr will do serious damage out to 300m, which is more than enough range for my predator defence needs.

This rifle has nothing whatsoever to do with some imagined "black ops tactical bolt-action" genre, aside from sharing the same ammunition magazine.

I’m thinking hard about a pair of them in 7.62x39 for my kids if they are brought in too. Be good plinkers and starter hunting rifles with good ammo.

Maybe that’s why you hahe an inward facing picatinny rail on it? I guess you can mount a qd mount on there.
