new issue #31 omg

From another site:

Take the bolt in your left hand, shroud in your right hand, and rotate the shroud CW until it locks in the small indentation.
Make sure the rotatable part of your bolt is in the correct position and you should be able to reinstall the bolt in the action.
It's fairly stiff, you need a tight grip to do this with bare hands.

Bro that was Stiff but i got it! Saweeet
Thanks

But something is up with this Bastard............. something to do with the Safety - the Bolt lock- and the Cnt not working!!!
the problem starts once u eventually put the Safety ON, even short period, Nek minit, cant extract a round...or the fkn bolt.

So... did you ever get the firing pin out? Was it rusty? How would a rusty firing pin cause your bolt not to move? Does it stick with no round in the chamber? There’s a lot of talk and no clear information

if you remove the stock you will see why. you need to clean it completely and remove all the rust visible or not.

i guided browning guys many years ago and the xbolt was even worst and they cleaned abolt and xbolt every night at the camp.

with why not? we camped and got rain on 7 days of the 8 where we hunted i was the only one with stainless and the only problem we got on 4 rifles and one shotgun was the rings on my ruger but they were not factory ones.

god luck.

hooley dooley, so rightio i pulled the bolt apart via youtbue video and cleaned the spring completely, didnt look too ba but mind you i have sprayed a hep of stuff in thre n petrol etc..
i rekon its factory lube just gummed up an the moisture certainly didnt help, somthing was catching or not releasen...

i thiiink,, it shuld be right for now.. lol

real weird but must be a firing pin strike stopper while safety and bolt latches are on??? because it would not fire again today after re cocking several times.

RE stock off, the rifle came in parts, barrelled action and stock, with bolt out. looked pretty smick but perhaps the gunshop just wiped over it as they pulled it apart, it showed some signs of rust near the thread of the bolt handle but nothing im too concerned about. no other rust indicated.
assuming factory lube 10 yr old..causing some sticky parts?

hah sorry, im taking it all in, back in from the shed now and so the firing pin has been checked and the spring, cleaned too. no signs of rust. would work fine without round, once chambered and safety moved, it then appeared to stick, the Abolt has 2 visible pins to lock the bolt in place when the safety switch moves. one near the bolt can be pressed down an the safety switches off itself- not sure how that works as the bolts down when thats in play.

so again, kind of weird, read up on a few posts just now i made, should be clearer??!

i took photos of the rounds, they showed signs of rotating while the bolt was moved up and down as per initially described, still wouldnt eject back though.
wierd colouring on the shoulders angles, perhaps just alot of touch an moving the 60 degree 40 odd times shone it up. same at the case base where you would typically find case head exp, shiney from movement. can post pic if needed but im ok with that.

i dont see how the brass would stick it in such a way, it had to be mechanical
