New ithacas?

I see one of the dealers on CGN has listed the 'new 'Ithacas. I really liked my 'old' one. Has anybody seen, shot or handled a new one? Any comments?

Yes, about $1000 canadian but some are a couple hundred cheaper, some more, depending what you get. i'lll be pricing them on our shotgun thread soon. We have 18 tguns on the first order and about half are still available. They should be here in a week or two.

I have a depost on the first 28 gauge Ithaca Model 37 to be imported into Canada.Looking forward to getting the shotgun.

From what I have read and seen of the new Ithacas they are the best ever.

I was under the impression that they have pinned barrels and therefore will not accept older barrels? Confirmation?

I believe the bbls are pinned on the Deer Slayer + HD model.
