New Kimber Royall II

Well I went and did it, purchased my first handgun. A lot of back and forth and damn near a purchase from Gunnar over at Armco but than I came across the Kimber Royal II .45ACP on a personal ad and well, the rest is history. Literally, love it. I have been trying to see who else carries this particular model of the Kimber Custom II's but can't seem to locate one within Canada to assess the retail value. Has anyone came across this handgun in any retail outlets and how much are they going for new? Thanks.
 
The Royal II lists for $1330 at my local shop. They (the shop) are a bit overpriced so I'd guess $1250 retail. I'm looking at Kimbers myself - what makes you love Royal? Is the only difference from the "basic" Custom II the wood grips?
 
MY first handgun was also a Kimber. I purchased a Kimber Eclipse Custom II from Epps last year. Absolutely loved it and i babied it like there was no tomorrow. And i just purchased my 2nd Kimber, Kimber Raptor II.

I don't see any of the major guys have Retail prices for the Royal II but Kimber site has it at 1013USD so my approx CAD price would be around 1400ish for a brand new one.

Hope you enjoy your Kimber as much as i do mine!
