New Leupold VX-3

Has anyone had the chance to look thru one of the new VX3`s or can compare them to the now discontinued VX-lll`s?

I couldn't tell any difference. The Mark 4 style erector assembly springs are the part that interests me the most. 'course I couldn't break the old ones, so the advantage might be theoretical.

Exactly the way that I felt when the VX III series replaced the vari X III.Leupold advertising promised big changes optically,then didn't deliver.I guess that I am not surprised that the VX 3 is no different.

i looked thru a new vx3 . i could not see any difference there at all . just more money for it .
