Well its been a while since I got down to Calgary for the big show, I walk out of there with a amazing find (in my eyes). A Untouched 1942 Lithgow all six numbers match(nose, stock, sight, barrel, receiver and bolt) and no FTR markings. The stock has the normal hits that come over 69 years but you can still see the sanding marks on it from the machines at the Lithgow factory. The butte stock has all those nice marking Lithgow places there, the receiver is dated 1942 and all the wood is 1943 so I would assume an late 1942 receiver. The barrel looks nice but needs a little cleaning. All and all a nice example to add to the collection.
