looks fairly new unless ive just missed it. Quite the savings for a scaled back cosmetic design. Anyone try one of these. Looks pretty nice

I see some people bashing Lockharts reputation but never heard why
 
They released it a little bit ago.
In my opinion it looks better than the gold and platinum. I hate the look of the lightning cuts or whatever on it

A forward assist :). But in regards to the dust cover, maybe if you left the range with your ar (something you dont do because ars are just a modern toy you bring, and shoot maybe 100 rounds after youre done zeroing youre 20 garbage lee enfields with whatever reload flavour of the day you half drunkenly slapped together the night before at 50 yards and calling it a day). If you took it in the bush and dirty environments/winter you'd realize the use for one. Then again that requires balls. Also this is conjecture because my initial point was that dust covers and forward assits are essential to clone correct builds, but hey that's your prerogative. just dont pretend what you know youre talking about there, mr 3k posts and no EE reviews. Maybe when i want advice on where to buy an overpriced lee enflield from a store youve blown your kids college tuition at ill ask ;)

LOL. I served in combat arms unit in the CDN Forces and have carried a C7 in nasty, dirty and frozen conditions for days on end. Does that qualify as having balls? :owned: I've got four AR's, one of which has undergone more abuse than most civilian owned rifles ever will. It rarely gets cleaned and yet continues to run and run and run. :ar15:

Well, I only have one LE but that's just a recent thing for me. I'm really more of a black rifles guy. It's a No4(T) replica, which cost a great deal of money to have done properly. So far I've only taken it out to 550 yds but we shall see how far it can go. I dragged it around all hunting season but didn't manage to get it dirty ... sorry.

I LOL'd at the notion of a "clone correct" build on a receiver set that isn't an AR15. How does that work? Is that better or worse than a WK180 pimped up to resemble a slightly odd looking M16?

How many firearms do I need to buy/sell on the EE to know what I'm talking about? I wasn't aware that buying and selling guns somehow conveyed knowledge? f:P:

Add the ability to take standard AR15 Bolt-Carrier Groups, and you might have something that attracts a prohibited FRT entry as an AR15 variant, just like the ATRS Modern Sporter. Use your noggin and be careful what you wish for....

Lmao it's all about to be banned buddy, they want everything.As if changing the bcg would matter at all, atrs literally got the ok from the rcmp until they didnt, none of it matters. Licking the boots of daddy government and self policing amongst gun owners has really gone well over the last few decades hasnt it?

Passing basic training and shooting your 100 rounds doesn't win you any brownie points, this country and our military are a joke and have been for the last 30 years. Whatever it takes for you to cope about it, and yeah I figured you didn't have kids when you have time to make 3k posts in one year LOL.

Whollly abrasive, dismissive of others' accomplishments and apparently full of himself, "Big Master" Shrek is most likely just another 16 year old hiding in his Mom's basement. We all know the type here on CGN - didn't get enough love and attention as a child, a product of our current selfish society, angling for a banning on CGN, etc. Just another loser without a clue who thinks his crap doesn't stink. Yay.

Lol all I did was suggest a bcg, dust cover and foward assist and you trolls came out of the woodwork with hostility. Bartok I actually like your posts but the suggestion that adding a standard bcg to a platform that has issues with its proprietary bcg would get it banned is simply ridiculous when things like the sks are up on the block. If anything canadian manufacturers need to push the line more to set standards instead of cowering in the darkness.

Holding military service over someone doesn't look good on you. And anyone with service also knows that it doesn't make you an expert on firearms. Maybe he posts twice a month to keep morons like you honest when you overstep your incredibly limited experience.
