New m305 quality and badger supplies question

this will be my first rifle, i was originally going to purchase it from Marstar because I'd feel much more comfortable with their warranty, but when i called and found i was 850ish on "the list", i doubt they'd have that many on their shipment, and even if they did, or had enough cancellations that i'd get one, i'd assume that it take months for them to get to me on that list, srry Marstar, i really wanted to purchase this from you. So my new venture is a purchase of this rifle from Badger Supplies, i wanted to know if anyone had any bad dealings with the new synthetic stock m305's that Badger supplies offers, both about the rifle itself, and any issues having it repaired/replaced. i plan (shortly down the road) to fit it into the jae-100 gen3 stock which is offered through wolverine supplies, though i haven't been able to get a response as to what their markup is vs. the pricing on the jae inc. website.
i'm trying to lay any last minute fears to rest. changing my venue to a supplier i haven't researched as much worries me. i fear that even though i read up on this rifle for a month if not more, that i'll get a lemon and not spot it. i have a friend who works in the canadian military armory, but we've only recently met and i'm reluctant for a couple reasons to rely on him to spot this for me.

sorry if this was long winded, i felt it necessary to flesh out my situation which i derive the question from.

Badger is a decent vendor, if not they would not be allowed on CGN.

I have a 2009 M14s aka M305 and aside from a few small but well documented "easy fix" problems it is a good solid accurate rifle.

There are several other CGN vendors selling the M14s at the moment, I would personally call or email a couple and make a deal on the rifle with several mags and 500rnds of MFS or Federal 150gr ammo, most vendors will bargain a bit if you buy it all at once and you will end up buying spare mags and ammo anyway.

It's higher.

PM me and I'll send you the price list.

A moderately optioned out JAE 100 G3 will set you back around $1500.

You may have to wait several to 6 months.

Ummm--not sure of where you are in the country, but the M305s are on most gun store shelves all over the Greater Vancouver area at roughly the same price as online ordering....FWIW....

i'm in moncton new brunswick, thanks for asking, also seems to be only one gun shop in the city, and they don't carry it.

I got mine from Badger. The only issue was that they were apparently out of the free hard cases, and instead included a couple boxes of MFS .308.

I would have rather waited for the hard case, but the gun is awesome.

Badger is good. You could also call around to see which mags come with the rifles at different dealers and whether the rifle has the bayo lug too. 20/5 round mags are easier to change. You might want to check out this stock too:

Read all the M14 stickies and watch the clinic video or better yet, go to one of Hungry's clinics for tweaking. It's an awsome platform.

Bought one from Badger.. no issues. Good deal, same as Marstar. He was (is) very busy, and didnt have as much staff at the time, so it took a few weeks. But it got here and works great.

I should mention that it was my girlfriend that got me one for my birthday, and they actually bent over backwards to get it to her on-time so I could have it on my actual birthday... that really impressed me when I heard how many hoops they jumped through.
