New manufacture m14 shorty barrel options

Well, if you can live with a metric gas lock, any chinese barrel can be threaded to fit an inch-pattern flash hider.

Other than that, you might be stuck looking for a used GI barrel or waiting for one of the builders to import another batch of McGowan, Krieger or Douglas barrels.

Correct me if im wrong, The threads that dont match on the chinese rifles are the castle nut/flash hider/gas lock threads? And thread on a Norc Reciever fit these new barrels?

Just want to clarify
