New Marlin 1894CSBL .357

Anybody know who's getting these beauties in?
I love the 1895SBL in .45/70, but always thought it would be a little too much gun for paper-punching.

Now that there's a similar model in a caliber I already reload for, I cant wait!!

For Ontario I spoke with Epps were I got both my Marlin's at, and these should be in around mid to late summer. With new guns coming out the US get's 1st crack and then they come up to Canada. I picked up my 336BL last july on the day they arrived,lucked out as there hasn't been any in since. Looking forward to get one of these in .357 also.

I wouldn't get too excited, if it's as bad as the new Guide Gun for quality, it's not worth buying. May look neat but likely better off to look for an older Marlin 1894C, the quality on those is excellent.

Nice to see them dropping both barrel bands in favor of a dovetail-stud to mount the mag tube. Accuracy will improve noticeably.
