New Marlin SBL having issue with extraction.

A friend of mine fell in love with my Marlin SBL the other day and decided he needed one. I've had this rifle for a year and a half now and never had a hiccup.
When my friend headed down to the local gun shop to purchase a SBL, the h6 rifles in stock were all being packaged up to send back for extraction or perhaps feeding problems (details are abit unclear).
Anyone else here of this problem?

Ummm yeah. Pretty well all the marlin levers made since they moved into the remington factory are like that (junk) There is even a thread ("Are all new marlins junk?) about halfway down the first page about this. I've got a 336w that is going in for warrentee work myself.

the ones you ve seen in the shop while back had the same problem as before feeding and extracting ... so the choice was made to not keep and sell them so they re back to the importer. doubt you ll see soon some others working ....
