Just assemble together, devellop a load accurate and explosive and i am gonna do a cleanup in this marmott population around the farm and the neiborgs farm, did not kill much last year, there will be a pest this year... JP.

Just found in my reloading station 3 boxes of 55 gr Amax, i will work with those , since my Nikon BDC 600 is calibtrated for a 55 gr polymer tip bullet at 3250 fps, this when zero dead on at 100, should be bulleye in every little scope (5 ) 200 to 600 yards with 50 yards increments in between... JP.

That will be an awesome scope/rifle combo. Marmots must be fun shooting, probably a different "whack" noise than little gophers.

Yes they are, and you need knockdown power when you reach out, as sometimes they weighed in excess of 8 pounds with an average of 5 pounds... JP.

Gonna go today get the best Harris bipod swivel/tilter 10 to 30 inch as for this hunt it is mandatory, sometimes, you can get 50-60 marmotts from the same position, just rotating on yourself covering 360 degrees from 75 to 350 yards, quite fun and relaxing hunt and getting 60 with 60 rounds is quite dooable... JP.

I asume you are talking about "woodchucks" or "groundhogs". Do you eat them? I have seen many recipes for groundhog and have often wanted to try some. There are woodchucks in Alberta but they are few and far between and I have never been able to find "a field full" on them.
