What’s it made up of? It’s a toxic synthetic I assume? Not that it matters to me personally for my own kit, but for youth stuff I tend to apply non toxic only.

Looks like nanoguard got their start in wire rope (cable or 'drill line') and the lubrication / anti-corrosion of it. Drill line takes a beating and is always exposed to the elements on a rig. If the drill line breaks, people and equipment get absolutely mangled. It has to be inspected and maintained religiously. To say this stuff got its start on drilling rigs might be a bit of a stretch but this manufacturer happens to cater to two of my favorite things.
