Greetings to all
As a child I pretty much lived and breathed war and weapons until the time girls became important(I put the obsession into the closet a bit). Still at the age of 18 I had been planning to begin my assault weapon collection upon my 19th birthday(drooling at the sight of Steyr AUG s and AKs for sale in the Buy&sell every week) , then Mark Lepine carried out his massacre and my dreams were soon shattered by the purge of '93.
I just gave up on gun ownership altogether, assuming all the good stuff had been completely banned, and that was it for my gun-nuttiness for a long time.
Well, I've given up on women(sort of) and am now embracing my childhood and returning to my roots.
I recently earned my PAL Restricted license and the will to get it was strong. I never knew that we Canadians could still legally own and fire some pretty cool firearms.
I will soon be making my first purchase and firing my first round ever soon-after.
I look forward to years of fun at the range and on this forum.
