and no I dont know the primeminister personally.
I'm hoping to expand my shooting, reloading and hunting knowledge with this forum, I'm mosty a lurker type...
But I would like to hear if any one of Ya'll have any experience with the Mini 14 in 6.8 SPC.
For real fun I do search and rescue with a canine.

Welcome to the forums, always good to see more Ottawa members around! Where in Ottawa do you shoot? I shoot at EOHC!
 
Hi there, and yes, where do you shoot. I'm a member at SFFGC but am planning to also join the National Capital Region Rifle Association in the spring.

welcome!. in spite of the long winters there's quite an active shooting scene in the NCR. Ranges within an hour's drive include the RA, Connaught , Stittsville, EOHC, Smiths Falls, Grenville, Capital? City Trap, Cornwall , Arnrprior, and I'm sure I've missed a couple.
 
Hi Tracy, welcome home :)

As mentioned above, lots of us and a few places to shoot. I'm a member at the Danford Lake / Club de tir de la Haute Gatineau clubs. I'll also likely be at the EOHC milsurp shoot on Jan. 24th, a chance to meet a bunch of us!

We have an active Cowboy Action Shooting Posse HQ'd at EOHC, The Ottawa Valley Marauders. Our first CAS shoot is Saturday April 25, so come on out and join us.
